Description/History:White net or gauze special occasion dress worn by Mary Sellars Brightwell at the age of 17 when she attended Richland High School in Pulaski County, Missouri. The dress is long and is decorated around the bottom with needle work. The waistband is a band of lace with needle work. . The same type of lace needlework is also at the bottom of the short sleeves and around the v-neck. It closes in the back with twenty hooks and eyes.
